Order Asterales, Family Asteraceae, Genus Agoseris
There is an invasive plant, Hieracium aurantiacum,or Red Hawkweed, that looks very much like this. For this reason, please be sure what you are looking at before you destroy it. I don't have any photos of Red Hawkweed. Both of these Agoseris species have "peduncles" instead of stems.
