Order Asterales, Family Asteraceae, Genus Artemesia
This plant is smaller than the giant Sage in the deserts west of us. I know of only two individuals, but I suspect there are more. It can also be called "Big" Sagebrush, but that is not my preference. See these links for more information: Wikipedia and USDA.
