This plant along with a few cousins, has been giving me absolute fits. Its synonyms are Symphyotrichum campestre and Virgulus campestris (Which doesn't make sense). Anyway, this lovely plant adorns our meadows with abandon. A rose is a rose, eh?
The petals on this flower are wider than those on most Erigerons.
