Maianthemum stellatum (False Solomon's Seal)

This plant is smaller than its cousin, and may be found with it. or nearby. Once classified as member of the Convallariaceae, or Mayflower Family, it has recenly been reclassified as, first, a member of the Asparagaceae, or Asparagus, Family, and then as a member of the Ruscaceae, or Butcher's Broom Family. Most recently, it is classified in the Nolinoideae, a sub-family of Asparagaceae.
