Order Ranunculales, Family Ranunculaceae, Genus Anemonastrum
I have seen this plant in both wet and dry locations. Weber and a few others call this plant "Anemonastrum canadense". Wikipedia and Wildflower.org have more information, specifically about Anemone vs. Anemodium.
