1.6 Recommendations for PUMA

1. PUMA should revise MEPP every five years or when County and federal planning processes necessitate an update. To properly prepare for County and federal plan revisions, PUMA should undertake its revisions at least one field season prior to federal and County planning cycles.
2. PUMA should update its resident surveys every three to five years in conjunction with future MEPP revisions.
