11.7 Intergovernmental Agreements

Boulder County uses intergovernmental agreements as a tool for regional planning with governmental entities that have overlapping land use interests. The extent of intergovernmental agreements with The Town of Nederland and Gilpin County is essentially referral agreements where the agencies will notify the other party of any land use action in areas of overlapping concern, such as along the Boulder/Gilpin County boundary. Nederland may utilize Boulder County GIS data and request that County staff assist in the analysis of land use proposals.
